Our Process and Tech Safety group here in St.John's, NL are looking to add a Senior Process Engineer to their team.

What will you be doing?

  • Liaising with other disciplines through work development; investigating, advising, and resolving complex design and field engineering problems
  • Reviewing, interpretating, designing and analyzing process equipment and systems, including process simulation and system analysis, prepare technical reports, design drawings, and specifications.
  • Preparing technical reports, design drawings and specifications
  • Conducting debottlenecking studies, equipment sizing and selection
  • Supporting procurement, fabrication, and construction efforts including through bid evaluations, communication with suppliers, documentation review, and support to offshore execution
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

We think you should have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related engineering discipline
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with PEGNL, or the ability to register
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience
  • Significant experience in a brownfield project or industrial environment
  • Solid engineering knowledge of process design codes and standards
  • Competency in process analysis software such as HYSYS, OLGA, and FlareNet or equivalent is required
  • Knowledge of the development of sustainable energy sources would be an asset
